A challenging design given how tightly this Federation style house sits within a triangular block. The brief called for screening from the street and neighbours, an outdoor BBQ and dining space and a little patch of lawn for Frankie the Dachshund.

The design response will be a modern, relaxed garden space which recycles existing red brick paving and features a low concrete retaining wall, Iron Bark timber decking/pergola and a mix of native and exotic plant species.

The garden delivers contrasting colour, texture and form, including upright trees for privacy.
